Richmond forward-midfielder, Jack Higgins will join St Kilda after a trade was finalised between the two clubs today.
In exchange for Higgins, Richmond will receive selection No. 17 overall at this year’s NAB AFL Draft and St Kilda’s future second round selection, to be used in 2021.
Higgins departs Richmond along with selection No. 21 in the 2020 NAB AFL Draft and the Club’s future fourth round pick.
The 21-year-old played 43 games at Tigerland across three seasons at the Club, including 10 in 2020.
Richmond General Manager- Football Talent, Blair Hartley, thanked Higgins for his contribution over the past three years.
“We wish Jack all the best for the rest of his football career and beyond,” he added.
“We are excited about the opportunity this trade provides us in strengthening our position in both the 2020 and 2021 drafts.”
Richmond currently holds selections 17, 36, 61 and 79 in the 2020 NAB AFL Draft and St Kilda’s 2nd round pick and Gold Coast’s 3rd round pick in the 2021 NAB AFL Draft.
