Richmond premiership midfielder, Jack Graham has put pen to paper on a new three-year contract, tying him to the Club until the end of 2023.

Graham has played 51 games since being taken at selection No. 53 overall in the 2016 NAB AFL Draft.

The 22-year-old famously kicked three goals in the 2017 Grand Final, in what was just his fifth game of AFL football, and has since matured into a reliable and consistent midfielder.

Graham ranks #1 at Richmond this season for pressure acts and #3 for tackles, despite playing just 12 games, and has averaged an impressive 18 disposals since returning to the senior side in Round 12.

Already renowned for his tenacity and a fierce appetite for the contest, Graham further etched his name into Club folklore after a brave performance in last year’s preliminary final win over Geelong.

The youngster courageously played out the game despite dislocating his right shoulder on four occasions and was subsequently presented with the Francis Bourke Award, for best demonstrating Club values at the 2019 Jack Dyer Medal.

On the eve of another finals campaign, Graham said he is eager to tackle the short-term challenge on the horizon, as well as remaining in the Yellow and Black alongside his teammates.

"The club's in a great spot, an exciting future ahead and I'm rapt to be here for another three years.", Graham told Richmond Media at the Club's Gold Coast Hub on Saturday morning.

"Since coming in in 2017 - it was a pretty good year to come in - obviously we won the flag and I was lucky enough to be a part of that. Then I've had some ups and downs, a couple of shoulder injuries, which didn't help, but here I am now ready to go again leading into finals.

"It's just going to be an exciting time, I'm really looking forward to it, along with the next three years of my future at Richmond.

"I love the club for the culture, the boys, and obviously footy is the most important thing, but all the things off-field that I enjoy.

"It's a great place to be, we have so much fun, and I can't picture myself being anywhere else."

Richmond General Manager- Football Talent, Blair Hartley said the Club was excited to keep Graham at the Swinburne Centre.
