1. Banking wins

Banking early wins in such an unpredictable year will go a long way in season 2020. With only 17 games to secure a finals position, winning a fourth game in a row to stay ahead of the ledger and the ever-growing chasing pack will ease pressure on the Tigers.

2. Tiger Cubs shine

With key Tigers out of the side, new faces, Noah Balta, Derek Eggmolesse-Smith, Jake Aarts and Mabior Chol have stepped up and played their roles in the absence of star players. Getting to finals will be a full-squad effort for teams in 2020.

3. Grand Final Re-match

GWS have lost their last two games and fallen outside of the eight. With a view to keep themselves in the finals' hunt, and with last year’s Grand Final in recent memory, expect the Giants to come out swinging.
