Summary: Jackson burst out of the blocks in 2011 with scores of 95, 91, 109 and 99, before his scores levelled off for the rest of the season. At his best, he is a consistent ball winner who could be a handy addition to your midfield.
Summary: Had a career low in points per game in 2011, but had career highs in statistical categories of goals, behinds and tackles, playing his role to perfection. The move forward saw him bob up with goals frequently, but made him drop a few points per game, and it’s likely the trend will continue in 2012.
Dean Macdonald
Price: $104,200 Position: Forward
Summary: Started off in the Coburg reserves in 2011, and ended up as emergency in round 24 against the Kangaroos. Bobbed up with three goals for Coburg and looked lively, while working hard on his fitness to end the season.
Summary: The former Crow is very enticing as a Dreamteam pick-up. He will be best placed as a back-up ruckman for your team, someone who will continually put in the hard yards and knock up points.
Summary: Averaged 71.5 in his first season, 89.5 in his second season and look for that to rise again as he enters his third season. Had stretches of 113, 141 and 119 early in the 2011 season, while also having stretches of 64, 69 and 77. He is fit and has come back looking leaner in 2012, and as a two-position player, he is a must have for your team.
Summary: Luke is your typical clean-up defender who has his best game against the Eagles in 2011 when kept Mark LeCras to just one goal. With Jayden Post looking to solidify himself and Ben Griffiths and Dylan Grimes both returning from injury, the Tiger backline is becoming harder and harder to break into.
Kelvin Moore
Price: $176,200 Position: Defender
Summary: We would love to see Kel return to the field in 2012. He is currently in the rehab group returning from hip surgery, and he may not be seen until the latter half of the season.
Steven Morris
Price: $104,200 Position: Defender
Summary: The son of a former Tiger great is in the mix to start the season in the 22 for the Tigers. He loves to run off half back, and led the SANFL in rebound 50’s in 2011. Could play a similar role in front of the Tiger faithful. At his price he could be one of the buys of the year.
Summary: Robin had a breakout year in 2011, increasing his output by nearly 21 points per game. Had sensational performances of 138 and 136 back-to-back at the beginning of the year, and followed that up with regular 100 point outings. He benefits from his dual position, and we’d expect him to see similar game time rotating up forward and in the midfield.
Summary: The captain dipped in Dreamteam output last year after a late season injury, as we saw Brett Deledio take the mantle of the number one rebounding defender for the Tigers. He could see more time in the midfield, becoming a key linkman between defence and attack. Regardless of where he plays, Newman is always a smart pick.
