Round 8, fourth quarter v Essendon at the MCG
Richmond needed a spark to start the last quarter, in the annual Dreamtime at the ‘G clash against Essendon.
Trailing by 23 points, at the last change, the Tigers won the first centre clearance of the final term, with Brett Deledio launching the ball inside 50 and into the goal square.
Shane Edwards provided the contest in the air and a scrimmage ensued in the forward pocket, before the Richmond livewire gathered and snapped a left-foot goal over his right shoulder from near the boundary line.
