Four players will make their debuts for Richmond in tomorrow night’s blockbuster opening round clash with Carlton at the MCG.

Former Adelaide Crows ruckman, Ivan Maric; ex-Melbourne small forward, Addam Maric; Steven Morris, son of dual Richmond premiership player, Kevin Morris; and the Club’s No. 1 pick in the 2011 AFL National Draft, Brandon Ellis, will line up for their first games in the famous Yellow and Black jumper.

The 26-year-old Ivan Maric, who played 77 games in six seasons with the Crows, has impressed throughout the pre-season at Tigerland, with his aggression and physical presence in ruck contests, as well as around-the-ground duels, a real highlight.

The 21-year-old Addam Maric, who played 21 senior games in four seasons with Melbourne, was elevated from Richmond’s rookie list to the senior list last week following some eye-catching pre-season form, underlined by his pace and precise disposal .

Morris, 23, is a strongly-built defender, renowned for his fierce attack on the ball, commitment to the contest, and ability to break the line with his foot speed.
Ellis, 18, has been a standout in his short time at Richmond, with his kicking skills, competitive spirit, and professional approach.

The three emergencies named by the Tigers for tomorrow night’s match are Jake Batchelor, Jeromey Webberley and Brad Helbig.
