Richmond has strengthened its position in the 2012 National Draft, gaining selection 40, in a deal with Adelaide, as part of an exchange for ruckman Angus Graham, and the Tigers' selection 50.

At this stage, Richmond now has four picks inside the first two rounds of the draft - 9, 29, 31 and 40.

Graham played 48 games for the Tigers over six seasons, and kicked 18 goals, after being recruited to the Club via the 2006 Rookie Draft.

“We would like to thank Angus for his contribution to the Richmond Football Club, and wish him all the best with his new opportunity at Adelaide,” said Richmond’s General Manager of Football, Craig Cameron.

“By gaining selection 40 in the draft, we are in a strong position to add some young talent to our list, which will complement the arrival of Chris Knights and Troy Chaplin in the free agency period.”
