Jockey Scott Hillebrand will wear the famous Yellow and Black colours when he rides Sheahan on Sandown Guineas Day this Saturday.
The specially-designed silks were unveiled for the first time on Guineas Day last year, when Debecca finished seventh in the 3200m Sandown Classic.
Sheahan, a five-year-old gelding trained by Stephen Brown, will line up in Race 8, the Kevin Heffernan Stakes, over 1300 metres.
And, it brings impressive form into the race, with two wins and a third place from its past three starts.
Overall, Sheahan has raced 13 times for five wins, and 10 placings in total.
Richmond has developed a strong relationship with the Melbourne Racing Club over the past two years, underlined by its support of Sandown Guineas Day.
This Saturday, Richmond members can gain free access to the race meeting upon presentation of their membership card.
New 2013 Richmond members, who have not yet received their membership cards, can show a print-out of their membership confirmation email at the gate, as proof of membership.
Tiger players, including Jack Riewoldt, Luke McGuane, Matt Dea, Jake King, Aaron Edwards and Nathan Foley, will be available on the course for photos and autographs.
Riewoldt and McGuane reveal their exclusive tips for the two main races of the day, in the Roar Vision special, ‘Punting with Pup’.
