Richmond’s three second round selections in the 2012 National Draft have been adjusted, after compensation picks were allocated by the AFL following the inaugural free agency period.

Under AFL rules, clubs who lost players during the free agency period were entitled to compensation picks in the National Draft.

At this stage, the Tigers’ first four picks in the draft are 9, 32, 34 and 43.  The order, however, is still subject to change, with the trade period not closing until this Friday (October 26).

Before the AFL handed out its compensation selections last Friday, Richmond held picks 29, 31 and 40 in the second round of the draft.

These picks were shuffled back three places after St Kilda received pick 13 for losing free agent Brendon Goddard, and Port Adelaide received picks 30 and 31 as compensation for losing Danyle Pearce and Troy Chaplin.
