A disappointing first half performance condemned Coburg to its seventh loss of the season in the VFL on Sunday.

Against the in-form Casey Scorpions, the Tigers kicked just three goals in the first two quarters and trailed by 44 points at the main break.

It was six goals apiece in the second half, with the final margin 47 points.

Liam McBean booted two goals, taking his season tally to 19 from seven appearances.

The Tigers welcomed back injured trio Jake Batchelor, Matt Dea and Ricky Petterd, with all emerging from the match unscathed.

Matt Arnot continued his strong form in the midfield, collecting 18 disposals, 11 tackles and nine clearances.

Dea was also impressive with 18 possessions, while Sam Lonergan had eight tackles and 16 touches.

Coburg hosts Geelong this Sunday, June 30, at 2pm.
