Talented, young Richmond defender Dylan Grimes took another decisive step on the comeback trail when he played three quarters for Coburg in its VFL practice match against Box Hill last weekend.
Grimes, who is returning from the latest bout of hamstring surgery that he underwent late last year, produced a solid performance, picking up 11 disposals (including four rebound-50s), taking three marks, and applying three tackles.
Young midfielder, Brad Helbig, in his second match back from a severe foot problem, had 19 disposals, including four clearances, four inside-50 entries and four rebound-50s.
Another Tiger cub on-baller, Matt Arnot, continued his impressive pre-season form, collecting 21 disposals, with six clearances, four inside-50s and three rebound-50s among them.
Meanwhile, experienced midfield star Nathan Foley will make his return to the training track this week in a limited capacity.
Foley, who is recovering from a rupture of the Achilles tendon in his right foot, will slowly build his time at training over the next few weeks.
