Players from the Richmond and St Kilda football clubs will once again compete for the annual Ian Stewart Medal, when the two teams meet at the MCG this Sunday afternoon.
The medal has been developed in order to recognise Stewart, the only player in league football history to win Brownlow medals and premierships at two separate Clubs.
Stewart is one of 25 legends in the Australian Football Hall of Fame, and was recently inducted into Richmond’s Hall of Fame.
The player judged best on ground by Fox Footy’s commentary team will be selected as the winner of the Ian Stewart Medal, and will be presented with the award after the match.
Jack Riewoldt was last year’s Stewart Medallist, for his eight-goal performance against the Saints in Round 10.
