Richmond takes on Melbourne at the MCG this Saturday, and the Club will use the occasion to pay tribute to Club ‘Immortal’ Tommy Hafey, who passed away at age 82 on Monday. The Club will honour and celebrate Tommy’s life in a pre-game tribute before the first bounce of Saturday’s match. Read on for tribute details and other pre-match activity.

Tommy Hafey Tribute
Richmond will pay tribute to Tommy Hafey in an on-field ceremony immediately prior to the opening bounce of the game, and fans are encouraged to be in their seats by 1.30pm to pay their respects.
- Tommy’s family and players from the four Richmond premiership teams he coached, will walk onto the MCG before the game to honour his enormous contribution to Richmond, and the broader football community
- Join in a minute’s applause along with Tommy's family, the Richmond premiership heroes, and the players from Saturday’s competing teams, to celebrate Tommy’s life.
- Fans are advised to be seated at the MCG by 1.30pm to view and participate in the pre-match tribute.

Tickets in all categories, including general admission, are still available. The Club highly recommends fans attending Saturday’s match to pre-purchase a seat or general admission ticket.
