Injury grounds Vlastuin
Rising Richmond star Nick Vlastuin will miss the next 3-5 weeks with a broken finger.
The 20-year-old suffered the injury, which requires surgery, in last Saturday’s match against Melbourne.
It’s a similar prognosis for another of the Tigers’ up-and-coming players, Liam McBean, who also broke his finger on Saturday, during the VFL match against Box Hill. He, too, faces about a month on the sidelines.
Richmond captain Trent Cotchin will face a fitness test later this week in a bid to overcome an ankle injury, which he sustained during the clash with the Demons.
And defender David Astbury will have surgery to repair a dislocated kneecap, with his length of time out to be determined.
