Reigning Jack Dyer Medallist Daniel Jackson will qualify for Richmond life membership, when he reaches the 150-game milestone against Hawthorn at the MCG next Sunday.
Jackson, who turns 28 on Friday (April 25), made his senior league debut with the Tigers in Round 16 of the 2004 season against St Kilda at Etihad Stadium.
He displayed an impressive work ethic from the outset, finishing with 13 disposals, including four inside-50 entries, and an equal team-high five tackles in Richmond’s 44-point loss.

A decade on, Jackson is one of the most valuable members of the Richmond side. He provides important midfield grunt through his strength, stamina, ball-winning ability, and appetite for the contest.
His breakout 2013 season, which culminated in him winning the Jack Dyer Medal for the first time, showed that he was capable of significantly more than restricting dangerous opposition midfielders in a run-with role.
Jackson was ranked equal No. 1 at Tigerland last season for inside-50s (95), No. 2 for contested possessions (219) and clearances (84), and he averaged 22.3 disposals per match.
In his three games so far this season, he’s averaging 24.7 disposals, and been one of the Tigers’ most consistent performers.
