Richmond’s young players are looking forward to continuing the intensity of training leading into Christmas, after they completed the first time trial of the pre-season last Saturday.
The Club’s one-to-four year players completed the three kilometre run at Princes Park, with Gordon edging out midfielder Brandon Ellis.
The Tiger youngsters were joined by some senior team-mates, including captain Trent Cotchin, Jack Riewoldt, David Astbury, Troy Chapin and Ty Vickery, who officially return to training on November 24.

“Everyone thinks about the first 3k (time trial) when they get back to pre-season,” Gordon told Roar Vision.
“To come out here in our first week, knock that off, now we can work hard before Christmas and carry it on throughout the year.
“Most of them haven’t done the 3k before. It was a good run - it went pretty well.
“Reece Conca ran a pretty good time, along with Sammy Lloyd and Liam McBean, so they were probably the runs of the day.”
