Richmond great Matthew Richardson has been appointed to the AFL’s All-Australian selection panel.

Richardson played 282 games and kicked 800 goals in a stellar career with the Tigers from 1993-2009.

He was a 13-time winner of Richmond’s leading goalkicker award, won the Jack Dyer Medal, as the Club’s Best and Fairest player in 2007, was a triple All-Australian representative (1996, 1999 and 2008), and is a member of the Tigers’ Team of the Century.

Another prominent ex-Tiger, Wayne Campbell, has joined the AFL Laws of the Game Committee, as part of his new role as AFL National Umpiring Director.

Campbell played 297 games for Richmond from 1991-2005, won four Jack Dyer Medals and captained the Club from 2001-2004.
