Richmond star Brett Deledio will miss his first game in seven years this weekend.

The dual Jack Dyer Medal winner held the AFL record for most consecutive games by a current-day player, with 140.
Also missing from Richmond side that defeated Carlton by 12 points, in a thrilling Round 2 encounter last Thursday night, is ruckman Shaun Hampson, because of a minor knee injury, and Nathan Foley, who has been omitted.
They have been replaced in the line-up by 2013 Jack Dyer Medallist Daniel Jackson, mature-age ruckman Orren Stephenson, who will both make their first AFL appearances this season, and forward/midfielder Nathan Gordon, who will debut for the Tigers, following a two-game career in two years with the Sydney Swans.
Jackson has had a delayed start to the 2014 season, recovering from a hamstring injury, while Stephenson has displayed strong form for Richmond’s new standalone VFL team, and Gordon has impressed in the Tiger ‘twos’, with his running ability.
Gordon picked up 20 disposals and kicked a goal in the Richmond VFL side’s win against Essendon last weekend.
The three emergencies for the Round 3 Richmond team are Matthew Arnot, Matt McDonough and Sam Lloyd.
