Richmond midfielder Dan Jackson will return to the playing field in this weekend’s VFL clash with Essendon.
Jackson has had an interrupted year, with injuries keeping the reigning Jack Dyer Medallist to just 10 AFL games so far this season.
The star midfielder will be one of 17 AFL-listed players to take on the Bombers at Highgate Reserve in Craigieburn, this Saturday at 1pm.
Goalkicking machine Liam McBean, utility Chris Knights and dangerous forward Sam Lloyd are among the other Tigers to play in the VFL this weekend.
Former Tiger Nathan Brown will join the commentary team for the match, on Richmond VFL Radio. Tune in to the live call via Richmond’s smartphone app or online.
Following the VFL match, an AFL International Cup match between India and Pakistan will also be played. Fans are encouraged to watch the
match and enjoy the traditional food and festivities on offer.
