An opportunistic goal from Shaun Grigg has been voted the 10th best goal of the 2016 season by Richmond fans.

Grigg’s goal came late in the third quarter of Richmond’s Round 21 match against Geelong at the MCG.

Gathering the ball from a kick to the top of the goal square, Jack Riewoldt brilliantly found Grigg with a kick over his shoulder whilst being brought down in a tackle, allowing Grigg to run in to an open goal.

The eighth and seventh goal of the year, as voted by Richmond fans, will be revealed tomorrow, Tuesday September 20.
