Statistics strongly support the fact that ‘ball-magnet’ midfielder Anthony Miles has been a valuable acquisition for the Richmond side over the past three seasons since joining the Tigers from rival league club Greater Western Sydney.
After being involved in just one victory during his two-year, 10-game senior career for the Giants, Miles will enter season 2017 with the best winning strike-rate at Richmond among the Club’s current playing group.
Miles has played in 32 wins from his 55 games with the Tigers, which is a winning strike-rate of 58.1%.
Taylor Hunt has the best overall winning strike-rate of any player on Richmond’s list, at 68.9%, but that’s because of the considerable success he enjoyed throughout his five-year career at Geelong. He was part of 49 wins and only 14 losses in 63 games all-up with the Cats, at a highly impressive success strike-rate of 72.8%.
