Up to eight Richmond players seem set to celebrate their AFL 100-game milestones in season 2013.

Two of those players have yet to pull on the famous Yellow and Black guernsey, one has spent just one season at Tigerland, while another has had two years with the Club.

Left-foot forward/midfielder Chris Knights joined Richmond during the league’s recent inaugural free agency period, following a 96-game career with the Adelaide Crows, while high-flying forward Aaron Edwards arrived at Punt Road in the October trade period, after an 82-game career at North Melbourne.

Ruckman Ivan Maric had a profound impact in his first season with the Tigers in 2012, playing 21 games, to add to the 77 he compiled in six years for the Adelaide Crows.

And, hard-running midfielder Shaun Grigg has doubled his games’ tally in two fruitful years at Richmond, following a frustrating 43-game, four-season career with Carlton.

The other Richmond players on the verge of chalking up a century of league games in 2013 are Luke McGuane (93), Matt White (89), Jake King (87) and new captain Trent Cotchin (86).

Former Port Adelaide key defender, Troy Chaplin, who also found a new football home at Richmond during the October free agency period, is poised to reach the 150-game milestone next season.  He currently has 140 games to his credit.
