In a team that has been criticised for lacking boldness with its playing style in the early rounds of season 2015, rebounding Richmond defender Bachar Houli has been a beacon . . .
Houli has, at all times, been prepared to take the game on, in his attempts to generate important run out of the backline for the Tigers.
“That’s the instruction obviously . . . the best form of footy is going forward and through the corridor,” Houli said on Channel Seven.
“There’s time where that’s going to be affected because there’s nothing down the line. But for me, I just keep backing my ability, backing my run and carry.
“I mean, I’m not the quickest player out there – it’s pretty evident – but I try and find the gaps. And, when I find the gaps, I try to take them.”
