The consistency of performance and growing maturity of dynamic Richmond midfielder Dustin Martin has been another key Tiger highlight in season 2015.
Martin again was one of Richmond’s best, in last Friday night’s win against Hawthorn, picking up 27 disposals, including five clearances.
He is averaging 26.8 disposals per game this season, with 25 touches or more on 12 occasions, and is ranked second in the competition for total kicks, eighth in uncontested possessions, 10th in inside-50s and 15th in total disposals.

“Eventually, like most players, you start to mature as an adult, and ‘Dusty’ has been through that process,” Richmond coach Damien Hardwick said on 3AW.
“He’s certainly got a lot of help from a lot of people within our football club.
“Mark (‘Choco’) Williams, as has been well noted, has had an enormous amount to do with him. He effectively mentors him, and he’s been a wonderful mentor for him.
“But Dusty’s started to make a lot of decisions by himself . . .
“He’s probably improved every season he’s been at our footy club, and it’s quite scary to think he’s just turned 24 years of age.
“So, he’s got an enormous future also.”
Martin, who made his senior league debut with Richmond in Damien Hardwick’s first season as coach in 2010, has played 125 games and kicked 130 goals.
