Cardinia Shire excited to host Tigers
It will be the second match in the 2016 pre-season challenge series for Richmond.
The Tigers had requested a pre-season game in the area because of their partnership with the Cardinia Shire, which covers what is a vast, growing region in the south-east of Melbourne.
Richmond will kick off its pre-season campaign against Fremantle at Rushton Park in Mandurah (WA) on Friday, February 19 from 4.10pm (WST).
The Tigers’ third, and final, match in the pre-season challenge series, is against Port Adelaide at Etihad Stadium on Thursday, March 10 from 7.10pm (EDT).
