Richmond will wear its new clash jumper for the first time in Sunday’s match against Port Adelaide at Adelaide Oval.
The guernsey design is yellow with a black sash that appears only on the front and a black number on the back, making it a reverse of the Club’s traditional strip. There will be no change to the socks, which will remain yellow and black hoops.
The Tigers adopted this jumper following consultation with the AFL, which had issued a directive to all league clubs to come up with more distinct clash strip designs.
Richmond will wear the new clash strip five times this season – against Port Adelaide on Sunday, Fremantle at Domain Stadium in Round 10, St Kilda at Etihad Stadium in Round 16, Adelaide at Adelaide Oval in Round 19 and Essendon at the MCG in Round 22.
