The Richmond Football Club extends its condolences to the Bond family, after the passing of Alan today.

Bond passed away in Perth this morning, aged 77.

“We acknowledge the passing of Alan Bond, who held the role of Richmond Football Club President in 1987," said Richmond president Peggy O'Neal.

"While Alan only held the role for a short period, it is appropriate we acknowledge his contribution at this time.

"The Club extends its condolences to the Bond family.”
