Experienced Richmond midfielder Daniel Jackson received the maximum votes from senior coaches Damien Hardwick and Scott Watters, for his performance against St Kilda last weekend.
Jackson received 10 votes for his three-goal, 21-disposal game, upstaging Ian Stewart Medallist Ty Vickery, who was awarded seven votes.
Jackson has been one of the Tigers’ unsung heroes this season, averaging 21.5 disposals per game, though his impact has not been underestimated by his team-mates.

“He brings that hard edge, and that bigger body and bigger presence which is much-needed in the midfield,” said Richmond defender Chris Newman.
“He’s one of those guys that is a real, genuine leader on-field, and off-field. He’s having an outstanding year, and it’s good to see.”
Jackson also received a combined four votes from the coaches the previous week against the Western Bulldogs.
