In the wake of the impressive arrival on the senior league scene early this season of hard-running, young wingman Kamdyn McIntosh, Richmond assistant coach Brendon Lade has expressed excitement about several other talented Tiger cubs waiting in the wings for their opportunity at the game’s highest level.
Lade spoke about the potential of Richmond’s first three selections in the AFL’s 2014 National Draft – Corey Ellis (pick 12 overall), Connor Menadue (pick 33) and Nathan Drummond (pick 52) in an interview on SEN.

“Corey Ellis played his third game back (in the VFL) from having his foot surgery in the off-season. He’s someone to look out for in the second half of the year,” Lade said.
“Connor Menadue is very similar to Kamdyn McIntosh . . .very quick, can run all day and uses the ball quite well. So we’re really excited about him.
“And, there’s another young guy, Nathan Drummond, who plays off half-back and through our wings, who’s also very exciting for us.
“We’re just looking forward to getting them in the side at some stage and letting them go and see what they can do for us.”
