The atmosphere in the MCG was electric just before bounce-down on Saturday afternoon, as Wadaiko Rindo, a Japanese drumming ensemble, led a dynamic performance as Richmond players entered the arena.
The performance energised the 80,000 strong crowd at the ‘G before Richmond’s Round 4 clash with Collingwood.
The group also led Richmond’s ‘March to the ‘G’ before the Tigers’ Round 1 match against Carlton.
Tiger fans can expect to see more of Wadaiko Rindo this season. The group will beat their drums to warm up the crowd at every Richmond home game in season 2013.
