Richmond's players returned to the track for the first official training session of 2017 at Punt Road Oval on Monday morning.
The session at Tigerland was preceded by a three-kilometre time-trial around Princes Park for the bulk of the playing group to dust off the cobwebs of the Christmas break.
Dan Butler, Oleg Markov, Nathan Drummond and Connor Menadue were some of the many youngsters to impress in the early morning track run.
A group including Jack Riewoldt, Dion Prestia, Ben Griffiths and Shaun Hampson completed a different time-trial on the grass of Punt Road Oval as part of their individual conditioning programs.
Richmond's first-year players Shai Bolton, Jack Graham, Ryan Garthwaite and Tyson Stengle were absent from training as they attended the AFL Players' Association's Induction Camp at Etihad Stadium.
The session at Punt Road was also notable for the debut of the PUMA logo on Richmond's training guernseys, with the club looking to launch the 2017 home guernsey in the coming month.
