Richmond has selected inside midfielder Matthew Arnot with its final selection in the 2011 National Draft.
The Oakleigh Chargers 18-year-old had a consistent year for Oakleigh, where he was a strong contributor in their push to the grand final.
“Matthew is an ultimate competitor who plays with aggression and thrives on the physical contact,” Richmond Recruiting Manager Francis Jackson said.
“He is a good clearance player, who is creative with his hands and has good lateral movement. He also is a neat kick, has a very strong work rate and pushes himself to exhaustion.
“We are pleased to add Matthew to our list and have no doubt he will leave no stone unturned to being the best AFL player he can be.”
