It’s been 37 years in the making, but the tour of Richmond’s latest premiership cup is now underway.
The prized piece of silverware that the Tigers secured following their glorious 2017 Grand Final triumph over Adelaide at the MCG on Saturday, September 30, is on display today (Friday, October 20) in the Sports Hall at the Swinburne Centre, Punt Road Oval from 9am-3pm.
Over the coming months, the 2017 premiership cup will be visiting regional Victoria and a majority of capital cities throughout Australia, so the Tiger Army can have a meet and greet with AFL football’s ‘Holy Grail’.

- Saturday, October 21: Cardinia Shire, Officer Community Hub, 2 Parker Street, Officer, 11am-2pm.
- Saturday, October 28: Mildura, Langtree Mall, 11am-3pm.
- Sunday, October 29: Echuca, 11am-3pm.
- Friday, November 3: Shepparton, Maude Street Mall, 11am-2pm.
- Saturday, November 11: Gold Coast, 11am-3pm (further details to come).
- Sunday, November 12: Sydney, 11am-3pm (further details to come).
- Friday, November 17-November 19: Darwin (further details to come).
- Saturday, November 25: Perth (further details to come).
The cup also will be touring Bendigo and Hobart before the end of the year, and Adelaide in 2018, when the Tigers play there, with the possibility of some other locations to be confirmed at a later date.
Due to such high demand, the Club can’t guarantee that all fans at the premiership cup meet-and-greets will have the opportunity to view the cup and/or take a photo, so it asks for your patience on the day and for you to arrive earlier than the allocated time to ensure your place.
