Richmond forward Daniel Rioli is on the verge of returning from a broken foot and has been named in this Saturday’s VFL squad.
Rioli, 21, has been sidelined since the 2017 AFL Grand Final, when he broke his left foot.
He is expected to make his long-awaited return in the VFL Tigers’ Round 7 clash against Sandringham at Beaconsfield’s Holm Park Recreational Reserve.
Richmond VFL is fresh off an 88-point win over North Melbourne last Sunday.
Craig McRae’s side sits on top of the ladder after dropping one game, while the Zebras sit in 10th position with two wins to their name.
Saturday’s game will kick off at 2:10pm. Entry is free for 2018 Richmond members.
A live stream of the match will be available on richmondfc.com.au.
