Damien Hardwick is set to become just the third man in Richmond’s history to reach the 200-game milestone as coach.
Hardwick will coach his 200th game in Saturday afternoon’s blockbuster against Collingwood at the MCG.
He joins Tommy Hafey (248 games, 1966-76) and Jack Dyer (222 games, 1941-52) as the only Tiger coaching double centurions.
And Hardwick becomes just the 38th coach in AFL/VFL history to achieve the feat.
His overall record in 199 games as Richmond’s coach is 105 wins, 92 losses and two draws. That’s a winning strike-rate of 53.2 percent.
