Dual Jack Dyer Medallist, Brett Deledio, was the sole Richmond vote-getter in the AFL Coaches Association’s Player of the Year voting for the Round 21 match against Carlton at the MCG.
Deledio, who picked up 29 disposals, including a game-high 10 intercept possessions, a team-high seven rebound-50s, and four inside-50s, received three votes from respective coaches Damien Hardwick and Mick Malthouse.
To the victors went the spoils, with five Carlton players filling the other voting positions – Brock McLean (nine votes), Mitch Robinson (seven), Kade Simpson (five), Andrew Walker (four) and Ed Curnow (three).
