Break The Fall, a short film by Peter Dickson on Richmond's drought-breaking 2017 premiership, has taken out an award at this year's International Sports Film Festival.
The film, which was originally shown at the 2018 AFL Season Launch, picked up the award for best photography at the week-long festival currently being held in Palermo, Italy.

Ryan Davey from AFL Europe was on hand to accept the award, with the film also nominated for best editing among a world-class field.
"To be honest it was surprising to find out this was even nominated amongst so many brilliant sport films from around the world," Peter Dickson, of production company Dickson Films, told richmondfc.com.au.
"It came out of the blue, and for footy and the Tigers' win to be shown in Italian cinemas over the week-long festival is amazing, and slightly ridiculous, but a great thing.”
