Star Richmond key forward Jack Riewoldt’s first-class, five-goal performance against the Western Bulldogs at the MCG last Saturday not only clinched him the 2018 Coleman Medal, it also earned him six votes in the AFL Coaches’ Association’s award for the final home-and-away round of the season – the most by any Tigers player on the ground.
Robust Richmond ruckman Toby Nankervis, who further highlighted his importance to the team with another top-notch display, received four coaches’ votes.
Nankervis finished the match with 21 disposals, seven marks, 25 hit-outs and a goal.
Dynamic Tiger midfielder Dustin Martin, who won the AFLCA Player of the Year award in 2017, polled three votes to take his 2018 tally to 70, which meant he finished equal eighth this season.
