Richmond ruckman Toby Nankervis has been fined by the AFL's Match Review Officer for striking during Sunday's win over Carlton.
Nankervis made contact with Blue Marc Murphy in the opening quarter of the 28-point win, resulting in a 50-metre penalty to Murphy's teammate, Kade Simpson.
The incident was assessed as intentional conduct with low impact and body contact, with the 25-year-old receiving a $3000 fine, but is free to face West Coast at the MCG this Sunday.
