The Tigers will look to carry the momentum they’ve gained in their undefeated start to the season, currently sitting at 4-0 in second place.
Richmond is just one game clear of NT Thunder, who sit seventh on the tightly-packed ladder.
The clash is set to be one of Richmond’s biggest match-ups of the season so far, with NT Thunder boasting a side littered with AFLW stars, including Adelaide’s Angela Foley.
After a tough loss to the side in Round 11, 2018, the in-form Tigers will arrive in Darwin with intent to give the home side a challenge.
A team of 27 Tigers have travelled north for the three-day trip.
Making her debut in the Yellow and Black will be 22-year-old Gabby Seymour as Richmond's 23rd player. Seymour has shown promising development over her time at Tigerland, drawing her elite aerial ability from her past as an Australian junior volleyball representative.
Midfielder Lauren Tesoriero comes back into the side, while Richmond's four emergencies for the game are Laura Bailey, Dahlia Edward, Justine Hocking and Mel Lindsay.
Out of the side that defeated Geelong last weekend is Hannah Burchell, Monique Conti and Alice Edmonds.
VFLW coach Tom Hunter said the team will welcome the chance to spend time bonding as a unit, and that a win away would “really galvanise” the side.
“We’re looking forward to the experience of getting on a plane together, spending a couple days together, and really building our connections,” he said.
“At the same time, it's a great challenge to be able to go play the Northern Territory, and we’re looking forward to the opportunity to play against a quality side.”
The interstate trip will also provide a valuable opportunity for the Tigers to develop professional travel practices ahead of their introduction into the AFLW in 2020, where they will be required to travel regularly.
Saturday afternoon’s clash will be live streamed here.
Fans can also enjoy behind the scenes coverage of the trip, as well as live updates from the game, on the Richmond Women’s Twitter, Facebook and Instagram accounts.
