In a breakthrough season for the 21-year-old, Baker has impressed in his 10 senior appearances of 2019. He is averaging 18 disposals, 4.5 tackles and has booted a total of eight goals.
In Round 10, he earned a NAB AFL Rising Star nomination after a dazzling performance against Essendon, which included 24 disposals, nine tackles and a goal.
Baker has been recalled following three solid outings in Richmond’s VFL side, where he has relished a new role as a small defender.
Big-bodied premiership midfielder Graham returns to the side after being omitted from the Round 17 team that defeated Greater Western Sydney. As Richmond’s carryover emergency for the match, he did not play at VFL level.
Out of the team that defeated GWS by 27 points are Kamdyn McIntosh and Derek Eggmolesse-Smith, who have both been omitted.
Richmond’s four emergencies for the Port Adelaide game are McIntosh, Josh Caddy, Callum Coleman-Jones and Daniel Butler.
