Richmond midfielder Matt Arnot and goal-sneak Sam Lloyd return to the Club’s VFL team for this Saturday’s Dreamtime curtain raiser at the ME Centre.
The Tigers take on Essendon in the annual clash, with inclusions of Arnot and Lloyd off-setting the losses of Reece Conca (hamstring) and Liam McBean (AFL selection).
Richmond, 2-4 after six rounds, is coming off a loss to Casey last week, while Essendon notched its third win of the season against the Northern Blues.
The match will feature an Indigenous pre-game ceremony, and the teams will be vying for the annual Sir Doug Nicholls Cup.
Richmond will wear the Club’s 2015 Indigenous guernsey, which was designed by 14-year-old artist Derek Summerfield, the cousin of Tigers’ midfielder Shane Edwards.
The game will be broadcast live on Channel 7, from 12.12pm.
Fans unable to attend the game can also follow the action through live updates from Richmond’s official VFL Twitter page
