Star Richmond AFLW midfielders Monique Conti and Eilish Sheerin have both been named in the 2024 AFLW All-Australian squad.

After being named in the final side for the past four seasons, in addition to 2019, Conti is in contention for her sixth All-Australian selection.

The 24-year-old enjoyed another excellent season for Richmond, averaging 25 disposals, six tackles, five clearances and three inside-50’s per game.

Among her many strong performances this season, the 2023 league best and fairest winner enjoyed a standout performance against the Kangaroos in Week 5, collecting 35 disposals, nine tackles and seven clearances to poll nine coaches’ votes.

In her third season at AFLW level, Sheerin, 32, recorded yet another impressive season to earn another All-Australian squad selection.

The two-time All-Australian (2022, 2023) averaged 18 disposals, seven tackles and five clearances for the Tigers out of the midfield this season.

Her finest performance came against Melbourne in Week 8, where she recorded 30 disposals, seven tackles, 10 clearances and one goal.

The final All-Australian team of 21 including a captain and vice-captain will be named on Monday, November 25 at the W Awards.
