Richmond AFLW pair Beth Lynch and Rebecca Miller will celebrate their 50-game milestones on Sunday afternoon against Hawthorn at the Swinburne Centre, becoming the ninth and tenth Tigers to reach the mark.

Beth Lynch will notch up her 50th AFLW game in her fourth season at Richmond.

The 27-year-old was added to Richmond’s AFLW primary list on the eve of the 2022 season after spending three seasons with North Melbourne, and has played in 41 out of a possible 42 games for the Tigers.

The younger sister of Jack Dyer Medallist and dual premiership Tiger, Tom, the defender stems from a netball background and has become a reliable part of Richmond’s AFLW line-up.

Lynch said reaching the milestone is "pretty special and exciting."

"It's pretty crazy when we only started out with eight games a year...it doesn't sound like many towards to the mens game, but it's quite a lot for AFLW," Lynch said.

Originally a VFLW Tiger in 2018, Lynch said "not that much changed in a good way (returning to Richmond in 2022)."

"Everything was set up very well for VFLW in the first year.

"It was more to continue on with a good program and good people, and working towards something," she said.

Lynch has featured in every match for the Tigers this season.

Rebecca Miller, in her sixth season at Tigerland, will reach the 50-game milestone on Sunday afternoon.

The key defender will become the fourth AFLW Tiger to play 50 games for the Club, after Monique Conti, Gabby Seymour and Kate Dempsey passed the milestone this season.

Miller, 29, has featured in the 2022 All-Australian squad of 40, and finished runner-up in the Tigers’ 2022 best and fairest.

Miller said reaching the milestone is "pretty surreal."

"It's been a long time coming. Many seasons over many years...(and) a lot of hard work in between that, but also a lot of fun along the way," she said.

"It's been really cool to be on that journey (as part of Richmond's VFLW program) since day one. I've seen a lot of people come and go in that time, but have also seen a lot of people stick around.

"It is a second family to me, Tigerland...the easy thing to know from day one is that Tigerland are full of good people first, and good footballers second, and that's always been the case throughout the years."

After injury interrupted her past two seasons, the reliable defender has featured in every Richmond AFLW match this season.
