Four AFLW Tigers featured in the coaches’ votes for their seven-point win over Geelong in Pride Round on Saturday afternoon, led by livewire forward Emilia Yassir and star forward Monique Conti.
Yassir was crucial contributor to the Tigers’ win over Geelong in Pride Round, kicking a game-high three goals to go along with seven disposals, two tackles and one mark.
The 21-year-old - who also kicked a crucial goal to the put the Tigers back in front in the final term - received six coaches’ votes.
Also receiving six coaches’ votes was Monique Conti who was influential out of the midfield.
Conti collected a game-high 27 disposals and seven clearances to go along with five tackles, one goal and 311 metres gained.
Poppy Kelly was rewarded for her dominant display in the ruck on Saturday afternoon with four coaches’ votes.
The 25-year-old finished with 15 disposals, 11 contested possessions, three marks, three tackles and 39 hit-outs against Geelong.
Rounding out the vote getters for the Tigers was Eilish Sheerin.
The 32-year-old picked up 17 disposals, eight tackles, five clearances and a goal to receive one coaches’ vote.
The dual All-Australian has received coaches’ votes in five out of her six games this season.
Conti currently sits in fifth place with 49 votes, while Ellie McKenzie sits in ninth place (38 votes) on the AFLW Champion Player of the Year leaderboard.
