Star AFLW Tiger Eilish Sheerin is set to play her first game of the season after a quad complaint saw her sidelined for the first two weeks.
Following Sheerin’s return to full training, AFLW High Performance Manager Eliza Morrison stated that “she's progressed great”.
“If anything, we've been having to pull her back, which is just the character that she is,” Morrison said of Sheerin.
The 31-year-old earned her All-Australian honours as a dashing half-back in Season 7 and 2023, and has finished runner-up in Richmond’s Best and Fairest on twice.
At AFLW level, Sheerin has predominantly featured in defence for the Tigers, but impressed in her transition to a midfield role late in 2023.

Sheerin replaces young Tiger Charley Ryan, who has been omitted.
Richmond’s three emergencies for the clash in Coffs Harbour are Ryan, Tamara Luke and Molly Eastman.
The first bounce is set for 12:35pm at C.ex Coffs International Stadium, with gate times to be confirmed.
Saturday afternoon’s game will be broadcast live on Fox Footy from 12:30pm AEST, and will also be available via live-stream on the AFL Live Official App and Kayo Sports.
