As part of eight changes made, Richmond VFL will be bolstered by the inclusion of five AFL-listed Tigers ahead of their do-or-die clash with Carlton on Sunday morning.

The VFL Tigers will face arch-rival Carlton for the second time this season from 11.05am on Sunday morning.

The last time the two sides met, the Tigers defeated the Blues by 36 points at the Swinburne Centre in Round 14, 16.9 (105) to 10.9 (69).

After falling to Sandringham by 33 points last week, Richmond’s finals chances will come down to the final round of the season.

Currently two points inside of a Wildcard position on the VFL ladder, the Tigers must beat the Blues on Sunday morning to make finals a certainty.

Ahead of Sunday’s clash with Carlton, the Tigers have included five AFL Tigers.

Marlion Pickett (hamstring) and Kane McAuliffe (soreness) will both return to action, as well as Samson Ryan, Kaleb Smith and Thomson Dow (AFL omissions).

Also entering the side are VFL Tigers Lachlan Wilson and Nicholas Collier.

The Tigers have also named 18-year-old Harvey Langford as their 23rd player.

Langford has a strong ball-winning ability and can hit the scoreboard, averaging 36 disposals and seven marks for the Dandenong Stingrays in the Coates Talent League this season.

Out of the side is Jacob Blight, Matthew Coulthard and Jack Ross who have been recalled for AFL action.

Stand-in co-skipper Joel Garner will be unavailable, serving a one-game suspension, and Cam Olden will miss due to a hamstring injury suffered early in last week’s clash with the Zebras.

Ry Cantwell is omitted from the side, and the young-gun duo of Jagga Smith and Finn O’Sullivan will exit the side to return to Oakleigh Charger duties in the Coates Talent League.

The first bounce is set for 11:05am at IKON Park.

The match will be live streamed free via the AFL website, AFL Live Official App and the VFL App
