The Richmond Football Club is mourning the death of our veteran trainer Laurie Pearson.

Laurie died May 13th 2024, aged 84.

A passionate Richmond supporter, he began his career at Punt Road in 1984 for the Under 19s and then as trainer/property steward with the Reserves and Seniors.

Later in his career he dispensed his wisdom to Richmond supporters from across the country as a volunteer at the club’s museum.

His devoted service of over 20 years was rewarded with Life Membership in 2006.

He was so admired by all the players at Tigerland that eagle-eyed supporters could spot him in the celebration circle after a Tigers win singing the theme song.

A live stream of Laurie’s memorial on Monday, June 17 at 1pm is available to view here www.vividstream.com.au/live/lawrence-pearson
