Trent Cotchin’s clever left foot snap in Round 13 has been voted the seventh best goal of the year by Richmond fans.
The Tigers were leading comfortably against the Western Bulldogs at Etihad Stadium, when a switch of play deep in Richmond’s forward 50 landed in front of midfielder Matthew Boyd.
Cotchin read the play well and sprinted to the contest, out-bodying Boyd before picking up the loose ball and snapping cleverly from the forward pocket.
The number six goal of the year, as voted by Richmond fans, will be revealed tomorrow, Friday September 20.
