Richmond coach Damien Hardwick is confident Tiger top guns Jack Riewoldt and Dustin Martin will agree to contract extensions with the Club.
Following the announcement early this week of four key Richmond re-signings – Chris Newman, Jake King, Brandon Ellis and Nick Vlastuin – attention has now turned to Riewoldt and Martin, who are out of contract at the end of this season.
Hardwick, however, sees no reason why they won’t remain at Tigerland . . .

“Obviously it’s a negotiating process . . . one side comes in, the other side weighs in on the other side,” Hardwick said.
“The higher quality the player, the longer it takes.
“So, it’s just one of those things that we’ll work our way through.
“They’re both quality lads and I’ve got no doubt they’ll sign when the time’s right.
“Both parties will work through it and both will probably walk away happy.”
